The Grenada Association (Toronto) announced the criteria to apply for the scholarship.

The multi-million-dollar project is being undertaken by the Ministry of Education with an intent to address the urgent need for modern educational facilities.

This marked a historic win for Glenya, who competed with delegates from all across the USA and outshined them with her distinct performance at the event.

All these courses have been launched for the upcoming intake, with many already in progress.

As part of the education infrastructure building, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Geoffrey Hanely handed over the newly renovated bathrooms to the school management.

These scholarships were awarded to the students after they were shortlisted by the authorities from the applications received.

The College authorities made the announcement public as they held a special meeting which was conducted to discuss important policies.

Minister of Education- Dr Geoffrey Hanely expressed delight with the donation and extended gratitude to the foundation on behalf of the government.

Under the theme- “Safety Starts with Me”, the School Safety Week will run through October 18, 2024, and provide teaching on enhancing safety protocols.

The authorities stated that with the commencement of the new school year, 392 temporary teachers were appointed by the federation.

PM Terrance Drew, who formerly served as a teacher, stated that he understands the critical role that the profession plays in changing lives and building the nation.

The scholarship is valued at US $500 per academic year, and the award depends on candidates fulfilling specific eligibility criteria.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew also met with the first batch of students who are enrolled at Southern University and A&M College- Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday.

The Prime Minister highlighted that he was able to negotiate with the authorities regarding full and partial scholarships which will further create more educational opportunities for citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.

This event was held on Friday 27th September, under which all the students and staff members of the college were to wear colourful and innovative socks.

This event will take place over a span of 5 days and it will end on 4th October 2024.

The Team is performing incredibly great at the event with a ranking score of 90.33 in a total of 4 matches played.

During the renovation, extensive painting and construction work had taken place to decorate the school and provide a comfortable campus for the students.

Team St Kitts and Nevis comprises expert and creative students, with a vision to contribute to the digitalisation of the twin island federation.

The ceremony on Wednesday was led to initiate the distribution of the packages, which will be disbursed in installments over the year.
