Police say a gun attack at a Denham Town home has left a toddler dead and two family members injured amid suspected gang turf conflict.

According to police reports, the officers of the Portmore, St Catherine, received a report on Tuesday, February 17, by the residents of the locality who informed officers about the incident. 

Ezekiel Moore, was shot at his home in La Horquetta and later died despite medical efforts, while police continue to investigate.

The accused has been identified as 20-year-old Gian Teck of Maskall Village, Belize.

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Jesus Carlos, a Venezuelan national, resident of Harmony Hall, Gasparillo. 

Police in Castries sealed off the scene and began processing evidence after the body was discovered with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head.
