The Tourism Ministry hosted the welcome ceremony for the passengers and the crew members of the vessels where they received warm greetings with the music of steelpan.

A total of 3600 passengers have docked in the island nation and explored the natural offerings of the Port of Spain.

Additionally, luxury ship Sea Dream II will also arrive at Antigua Cruise Port which will highlight the appeal of the island towards both large cruise liners and boutique vessels.

As of 2024, the cruise line has been serving to the ocean liner in St Kitts and Nevis, providing the chance to sail around the regular transatlantic crossing between Southampton and New York City.

Thousands of travellers explored the hotspot destinations at Antigua Cruise Port including Heritage Quay with a chance to grace shores.

Passengers explored the offerings of the island nation at St John’s Harbour through their pre-packed tours, benefiting the local communities.

The homeporting day has increased the economic activities in Antigua and Barbuda by welcoming over 5000 passengers and over 1000 crew members when the vessel berthed at Heritage Quay.

MV Viking Sea docked at Woodbridge Bay, and it has the capacity to carry over 1000 passengers with other travel experiences.

During the ceremony, several representatives of the Barbados Port Inc and Platinum Port agency arrived and welcomed the docking of the cruise vessel which is visiting the country for the first time ever.
