Preliminary Polling data has indicated that Irfaan Ali's lead People Progressive Party/Civic has secured a second term in office after contesting a strong battle with Azruddin's WIN in Guyana's 2025 Regional and General Elections.

The official data from GECOM shows WIN leading with 10,233 votes more than double of the total earned by PPP/C and APNU, establishing the emerging party as a major player in Guyanese politics.  

The Electoral Commission requested a postponement to better prepare for the voter confirmation process, originally set for September 1.
