The law enforcement department of Guyana registered a case of death in which a decomposed body of a male victim was found in the locality of Henrietta. The dead body of an unknown man was recovered by the police after getting the information on Monday, 19 August.
The investigation in the case in which a man with no fixed place of adobe was found is active under the assigned unit of the Guyana police department. The identification of the man is not done yet, and the police officers are trying to find the connections of the dead.
The case was disclosed to the authorities after information was passed by a senior citizen who spotted the dead body in the area. It is mentioned that the decomposed dead body of a man was discovered by a 64-year-old man, who is a local resident of Henrietta, Essequibo Coast, Guyana.
The old man stated to the police that the dead man was inside an abandoned house which is situated on the north side of his yard. The information about the dead body at a decomposing stage in the region was shared with the police during the morning time on the day.
The time was recorded around 09:40 am on Monday when the information was collected by the officers of Anna Regina Police Station. It is said that the old man observed some foul smell in the locality, after which he decided to find the source and reason.
Reportedly, the man in his sixties discovered that the smell was emanating from a house near his residence, which was abandoned. The senior citizen went inside the abandoned house and checked the place when he found a dead body in a decomposing state.
The complaint of the death was immediately passed to the Guyana law enforcement department. In response to the complaint, the officers from the Divisional Headquarters at Anna Regina got alerted, who took charge of the matter and arrived at the mentioned place.
The crime scene technicians also visited the site of the finding along with the police ranks. The abandoned house was seized for the investigation, and the examination of the dead body and site was initiated. The old man was also questioned by the officers.
It is mentioned in the police reports that the dead body of the man found in Henrietta, Guyana, was about 60 percent decomposed. The dead man was found on the site covered with worms and flies on the body.
The dead body and the site were photographed, after which the order was passed to escort the deceased man to the Suddie Public Hospital. In the hospital, the official announcement was made about the death of the man.
The post-mortem report is waited to know the reason for the death. The body is placed in the Suddie Public Hospital Mortuary for futher proceedings. The porob is active in the case of death and finding of decomposed dead body in Henrietta by Guyana police.
