Police found unidentified dead body in Cunupia
The dead body of a male victim was found in the neighbourhood along Bridal Road in Cunupia which is unidentified.

Trinidad and Tobago: The Twin Island Federation law enforcement department is involved in an investigation after the discovery of a dead body in the locality of Cunupia. The dead body found in the neighbourhood along Bridal Road was of a man who was discovered and reported to the police department during the day time of Tuesday, 30 July, around 02:13 pm.
The dead body of the man was found in the region of Trinidad by the local people who live in the residence around the site. The identity of the deceased man is not known for now, and the dedicated team of police officers is trying to find the details and background of the man. The details of the man could help in situating the reason behind the death of the victim.
As per the reports on the finding of the dead body of a man in the locality of Cunupia, the incident was explored by the local residents of the neighbourhood who spotted the man. It is said that the man was sitting on a chair along no.7 Bridal Road and was not moving, which raised suspicion among the people around.
It is mentioned in the case details that the people checked the unresponsive man sitting on the chair to know the reason for him being there. On checking the man, the people found that the man was lying lifeless on the spot, after which the information was passed to the law protection unit. As the information about the dead man was passed to the authorities, the police officers responsible in the region took charge and arrived at the site of discovery.
The time was quoted at nearly 02:13 pm on the day when the dead body was spotted at the site of Cunupia. The respondent party of police officers arrived at the scene and took the area under control after confirmation of the collected information. The investigation was started, and the inquiries were conducted in the neighbourhood.
Reportedly, no one in the locality was able to identify the dead man which concluded that the man was not local to the community. The district medical officer was also summoned to the site in order to support the investigation. The district medical officer examined that dead man’s body after which the office statement of his death was passed.
Subsequently, the dead body found in Cunupia was assisted to the forensic department for the post-mortem to situate the actual reason for his death. Meanwhile, the police officers are trying to find the identity of the dead man to give direction to the legal proceedings.
