CPL T20 fever hits Saint Lucia, island set to host 4 electrifying matches

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority is calling upon the fans to visit the island and watch the exciting Caribbean Premier League (CPL T20) matches live between September 7 to 15, 2024.

The island will be hosting four matches at the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground, all of which will be held at 7 pm.

While asking all cricket enthusiasts to join in on the fun, the authority remarked, “It’s that time of year again, and the excitement is building as cricket fever sweeps through Saint Lucia!”

It further added, “The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to bring thrilling matches to the island on September 7, 10, 12, and 15. With the crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd creating an electric atmosphere, it’s easy to see why experiencing CPL T20 in Saint Lucia is an absolute must.”

Notably, the Caribbean Premier League 2024 is all set to take place from August 29 to October 6, 2024 at various venues across the region, all of which boasts the best facilities and infrastructure.

The tournament will kick off at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua following which it will be held at Warner Park Cricket Stadium in St Kitts.

The matches will then take place at Daren Sammy National Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia, Kensington Oval Ground in Barbados, Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad and Providence Stadium in Guyana.

The CPL T20 will feature six teams including Trinbago Knight Riders, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Saint Lucia Kings, Barbados Royals and Antigua & Barbuda Falcons.

Saturday, September 7, 2024 – Saint Lucia Kings vs Guyana Amazon Warriors
Tuesday, September 10, 2024 – Saint Lucia Kings vs Trinbago Knight Riders
Thursday, September 12, 2024 – Saint Lucia Kings vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
Sunday, September 15, 2024 – Saint Lucia Kings vs Antigua and Barbuda Falcons
