St Kitts and Nevis: A brand-new Amusement Park is set to open as part of the events for the 41st Independence of St Kitts and Nevis. The park will open on September 13, 2024, and run through October 6, 2024.
It will remain open daily and entertain the audience who will visit the country to explore the cultural and tourism offerings. The park will remain open from 5 pm to 11 pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, while, on Friday and Saturday, time for the openings will be from 5 pm to 12 midnight.
The park will be organized at Royal Basseterre Valley National Park and the admission fee for adults will be $10.00. The children are allowed to visit the park free of cost.
The vendors have been called for the work at the Amusement Park in different fields including Drink Vendors/Bars, Snack Vendors, Food Vendors, Local Artisans, and Kids Zone Entertainment.
The registration for these works opened on Tuesday, however, the authorities have received over 200 submissions in under an hour. Due to this, they have closed the registration portal for workers. The vendors are also invited to register for Ticket Booth Facilitators and Ride Operators with the same submission deadline.
St Kitts and Nevis Independence
The independence St Kitts and Nevis is being celebrated every year with massive lineup of the events and activities, aiming to showcase the culture and tradition. On September 19, Independence is marked for the country when the flag is being hoisted and the national heroes are being remembered with the events including parade and march.
Different events including National Heroes Park, Independence Cultural Celebration, National Flag Day, Patriotic Day Fair and National Colours Day are part of the Independence celebration. Seniors from across St Kitts were treated to a day of fun and excitement as part of the activities being held in the celebration of Independence.
This was done through the staging of the Senior’s Independence Cultural Celebration at the park, featuring music, dance, poems and other cultural experiences. As per the seniors, the event has brought smiles and laughter to their faces.
The government has installed the icon of the National Heroes of St Kitts and Nevis at the entrance to Government Headquarters. With the beautiful artwork by Vaughn Anslyn, the displays of the national heroes were placed at the entrance.
In the coming days, St Kitts and Nevis will host the Youth Independence Rally 2024 on Friday, September 13, 2024. The Youth Independence Rally aims to provide a platform for young people to express their love for the country, share their talents and showcase their school pride. The event will feature a variety of activities, including a parade and live performances.
This event provides the opportunity for you to highlight your accolades, queens, sportsmen and women and outstanding young individuals of your institution.
The parade will start in Port Zante at 9: 30 pm and rally in Warner Park Sports Stadium at 11: 00 am.
St Kitts and Nevis Independence 41 is being celebrated to remember the national heroes and paid tribute to the culture and heritage of the country.
