St Kitts and Nevis: The construction work is progressing rapidly at the St. James Primary School as the infrastructure has been installed in the hall of the school. The update was shared by Troy Liburd- Minister at Nevis Island Administration who visited the school to meet the students on their first day.
He shared glimpses on social media and outlined that significant investment has been made to enhance the infrastructure of the school so that the student could receive modern facilities. The construction is aimed at creating safe and child-friendly environments so that the students can remain encouraged for their studies.
Troy Liburd visited St James Primary School for their opening day and spend time with the students during their first day. He interacted with them and encouraged them for the year ahead.
The minister noted that the excitement and joy among the students about returning to school was amazing as they are moving ahead in their life for their brighter future. He also visited the kitchen where lunch was being prepared.
He added, ”It was wonderful to see the staff enthusiastic and prepared for the year ahead, and to witness the students’ joy and excitement about returning to school. Visited the kitchen where lunch was being prepared.”
Besides this, he also visited the Charlestown Pre-School at the Albertha Payne Community Centre in Bath Village and expressed delight in witnessing excitement on the children’s faces. He noted,” Thrilled to see the excitement on the children’s faces as they returned to school today! I visited the temporary location of Charlestown Pre-School at the Albertha Payne Community Center in Bath Village this morning.”
He added that the children and staff were in high spirits and children delighted to be back at school.
The Minister also extended a warm welcome to all students and teachers returning to the classrooms for another exciting academic year. He extended gratitude for their unwavering commitment to shaping the minds of the future leaders.
