The team Caribbean Tigers, after dominating the league stage of the Max60 T10 Cricket League 2024, won the trophy in the final match by defeating New York Strikers. The opponents were marginalized in all sections of the game, including batting and bowling.

The Caribbean Tigers took the Max60 Title in their name by a difference of 56 runs, which ensured their victory. The grand event of the final match started with one last toss, and the coin was landed after a flip in favor of the Tigers.

Under the leadership of Captain George Munsey, the team hit the field to bat first and put a good total on the scoreboard at the high-pressure stage. The match under the administration of the Cayman Cricket Board was held at the Jimmy Powell Oval Stadium, George Town.

Josh Brown and Captain George Munsey came to open the innings on the pitch for the Caribbean Tigers. The most successful batsman for the Tigers and in the Max60 league, Josh Brown, again played a crucial innings at the most meaningful stage of the league.

Opener Brown started the match with a heat and scored 60 runs while facing just 18 balls at the strike rate of 333.3. He sent 10 balls out of the boundary line in his inning, out of which 6 deliveries went flying out for sixes.

This was the third half century for Josh Brown in the tournament. His small and destructive batting came to an end on the fourth ball of the fourth over by Isuru Udana. In the middle order, the restricted batting by Nick Hobson, Cameron Hemp, and Ashley Nurse slowed down the pace of scoring.

The three batsmen score a duck after facing 4 balls, 2 runs in 4 balls, and 9 runs in 10 balls, respectively. However, the strong batting of Chris Lynn helped the team to reach a total of 125 runs after the loss of 6 wickets after the conclusion of 10 overs.

Chris Lynn scored 35 runs in his inning of 16 balls at the strike rate of 218.8, with the help of 2 sixes and 4 fours. Lynn was departed from the ground on the second last ball of the inning with a caught and bowled by Carlos Brathwaite.

The three players of the New York Strikers dismissed by Suranga Lakmal were Mitchell Owen on golden duck, Kennar Lewis after scoring 4 runs on 2 balls, and Chandrapaul Hemraj at 4 runs in 5 deliveries.

The most expensive bowler for the Tigers was Andrew Tye, who gave 111 runs in his one over, but in exchange for 1 wicket. Michael Leask, Patrick Dooley, and Brad Currie also took 2 wickets each. The opponent was limited to 69 runs for all out in 8.1 overs.

With the final wicket of New York Strikers, the Caribbean Tigers sealed the victory and marked their name as victors of the first season of the Max60 T10 Cricket League. The winning team completely dominated the tournament with just one loss in the league stage against the Boca Raton Trailblazers.
