Trinidad and Tobago: Three men held for stealing construction materials in Arima

Trinidad and Tobago: The police officers in Twin Island made an effort in the construction materials stealing case and held three male suspects in the Arima district. The exercise was launched in relation to the case that led to the arrests after an investigation on Thursday, 15 August.
The dedicated police officers also seized the stolen construction material items from the Arima district of Trinidad, along with the arrest of three suspects. The information in relation to the case was shared officially by the Trinidad and Tobago Police department along with some details on Sunday, 18 August.
As per the available details on the stealing case of Arima, Trinidad, the quantity of stolen construction materials was recovered during an four hour long operation. The crime eradication exercise was connected jointly on the day by the officers of different responsible units.
The mission was executed by the assigned lawmen from the Arima Criminal Investigations Department and the National Operations Task Force. The police action was stretched from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm on the day.
The action of the police department was followed after the collection of information through intelligence about some alleged gang-related activities occurring in the district. The police authority started an exercise in the locality which led to the interception of a pickup truck by the joint team of officers.
Reportedly, the intercepted vehicle was an Isuzu pickup truck of blue color, which was found carrying a quantity of construction equipment. The officers examined the items loaded in the truck and found that the materials matched the description of the stolen items.
Immediately, the findings in the truck were seized by the responding police team and were taken to the police station. The police officers also arrested the three male suspects, who were in the truck with the stolen items.
The three men were taken into police custody under the charges of stealing the construction materials for the Arima district of Trinidad. It is disclosed in the police details that the three men facing the charges are in the age category of 22 years to 30 years.
Reportedly, the complaint was filed to the law enforcement department by an owner of the compound and a contractor. It was stated that the stolen construction materials were allegedly removed from the compound of the victim.
However, the items collected by the police officers during the exercise were identified by the victim. The police officers are taking further legal steps in the case while the three suspects are facing interrogation. The investigation into the case of stealing construction materials in Arima, Trinidad, is active.
