Grenada: Kerosene and LPG prices rise as gasoline and diesel remain unchanged

Grenada: The retail prices of petroleum products such as Kerosene and LPG were increased in Grenada on September 18, 2026. However, the prices of gasoline and Diesel have not changed in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, as per the government.

While the retail price of gasoline and diesel remains unchanged at $17.00 per unit, consumers will pay more for kerosene. The price of kerosene has increased from $15.84 to $16.86, representing a $1.02 increase.

The latest adjustment also affects LPG prices, with changes varying according to cylinder size and location.

In Grenada, the price of a 20-pound LPG cylinder remains unchanged at $40.00. However, the price of a 100-pound cylinder has increased from $302.15 to $323.95, an increase of $21.80. The price of bulk LPG has also risen from $3.10 to $3.30, representing a $0.20 increase.

In Carriacou and Petite Martinique, the 20-pound LPG cylinder remains at $49.00, while the price of a 100-pound cylinder rises from $326.00 to $347.00, an increase of $21.00. Bulk LPG has similarly increased from $3.10 to $3.30.

The changes mean that while gasoline, diesel and smaller LPG cylinders remain at their previous prices, households and businesses purchasing larger LPG cylinders or bulk supplies will face higher costs.

The revised prices form part of the Government's regular petroleum pricing framework and apply from September 18. The Ministry of Finance notice provides separate pricing for Grenada and the sister islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, reflecting the different retail rates in each market.

The latest adjustment comes as energy and fuel prices continue to influence household and business costs across the Caribbean. For consumers in Grenada, the unchanged prices for gasoline and diesel provide some stability, while the increases in kerosene and selected LPG products will be reflected in energy expenses from the effective date.
