Caribbean Airlines launches new route to Tortola this October
Tortola is all set to receive a number of passengers with a new route being launched by Caribbean Airlines.

British Virgin Islands: In a significant development, the British Virgin Islands’ Tortola is all set to receive a number of passengers with a new route being launched by Caribbean Airlines.
The regional carrier, from October 14, 2024 onwards will begin new Trinidad-Antigua-Tortola-San Juan and Trinidad-Barbados-Tortola-San Juan route.
According to the information, the expansion was announced by the airline in a bid to expand its network and to connect the region in a better way.
The CEO of Caribbean Airlines, Garvin Medera expressed his utmost enthusiasm about this regional expansion and remarked that regional connectivity is at the heart of the airline’s overall mission and the company’s new service to Tortola is a major step forward in the growth strategy.
While reiterating the airline’s commitment, the CEO stated that his team will offer seamless travel experiences for the passengers and by the end of 2024, Caribbean Airlines strives to link the French, Spanish, Dutch and English speaking Caribbean with one another.
He further talked about the new service and said that flights will operate four times in a week from Trinidad, which is the base of the airline. He also added that the airline will provide convenient connections to other destinations which includes Antigua, Barbados and San Juan.
Also, the Director of Tourism of British Virgin Islands welcomed the new route with open arms saying that the island could not be more thrilled with this decision of the Caribbean Airlines to serve the islands. He said that the decision will eventually allow more people to visit the BVI, allowing them to explore the magnificent island.
