Silent Hill man charged in sexual assault case

Jamaica: The police department of the island nation is working on a case of sexual assault in which a male suspect is accused of assaulting a female victim in the locality of Silent Hill. The suspected man is laid with multiple charges by the police department for the unlawful act on Monday, 29 July. The man was taken into custody after he handed himself to the law as the investigation was initiated.

The accused man in the case of sexual assault against a woman in Silent Hill is identified by the law enforcement authority and is mentioned in the reports. The suspect is identified as a 27-year-old man, whose name in official documents is quoted as Okeeno Maurice. Okeeno Maurice is a construction worker by profession who lives in the community of Long Fearon district, Silent Hill, in the Clarendon parish of Jamaica.

As per the collected facts on the Silent Hill sexual assault case, the unlawful incident was recorded in the region during the early hours of Monday, 22 July, between the hours of 12:00 am to 01:00 am. The incident took place on the day when the victim was sleeping at her house in the settlement. It is said that the suspect man entered the house of the lady without any authority or her permission.

It is mentioned in the reports that the victim lady noted the illegal entry of the suspect at her property after she heard weird sounds inside the house, which disturbed her sleep. As the woman awoke and looked around the house, she spotted the suspect man who had already invaded her place. It is understood that the accused came inside the home through a window.

Reportedly, the accused man approached the woman with his demand to get sexually involved with her. The intention of the suspect man was clearly to rape the victim woman at her house. As the suspect made his attempt to sexually assault the lady against her agreement, the woman started to struggle to save herself.

Subsequently, the victim lady made an alarm in order to find help from the people living around, after which the suspect instantly made his move to escape from the site to protect himself from getting caught. The police department was called afterwards to notify them about the act of sexual assault in the locality of Silent Hill.

The police department responsible for the area took charge of the matter after receiving the complaint. The responding officers recorded the statement of the victim lady and the investigation was launched. The suspected Silent Hill resident handed himself to the police, after which he was taken into study and eventually laid with charges of burglary and sexual assault.
