PM Terrance Drew encourages students for new school term
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended best wishes to the students, teachers and auxiliary staff for their new academic year

St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended best wishes to the students, teachers and auxiliary staff for their new academic year. He announced that the government has made significant investments in the education sector.
PM Drew added that they have provided students with the tools, devices and other infrastructural facilities to enhance their learning experience. He hoped for the best for the students who are entering into the new school term which has kickstarted on Monday.
As part of the education programmes, the repairing and installment of the infrastructure has been started in the Cayon High School ahead of the new academic term. The Prime Minister also extended gratitude to all the stakeholders for getting the work done on the school.
He noted, ”At the Cayon High School, I want to thank all involved in ensuring that the students will go back to a safe space.”
Extensive measures have been taken to rid the school of mold to the extent of deploying advanced technology. The task force to deal with issues of mold has also been put together. He noted that the health and safety measures have also been implemented efficiently for the students, teachers and auxiliary staff.
He added,” The health and safety of our students, teachers and auxiliary staff is our number one priority and it will never be compromised.”
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew also encouraged all students to work hard and to be kind and noted that the students will seize this opportunity to secure a good education. He extended greetings to the teachers and staff for their new school term.
PM Drew recently hosted the back-to-school fair and spent time with the students and teachers for their upcoming school year. He encouraged all of them for the education and asked them to be respectful to your teachers and their fellow students.
He added,” To the teachers and staff, you hold the power to shape futures. Continue to uplift and inspire.”
Several leaders including Education Minister- Dr Geoffrey Hanely and Minister of Sports- Samal Duggins have extended wishes to the teachers and students for the new term.
