Trinidad lawmen held wanted criminals for Demanding Money by Menace

Trinidad and Tobago: A joint operation by the police department of Trinidad and Tobago led to the arrest of wanted criminals under the charges of Demanding Money by Menace. The suspects were held in the intelligence-based exercise in the region of the North Central Division on Wednesday, 28 August.

The three suspects were wanted by the Trinidad police under multiple reports of Demanding Money by Menace that were registered. It is said that the accused executed the crime against over a dozen victims in a span of several months.

It is mentioned by the police that they received many complaints related to similar criminal activity for which the department was in search of the culprits. The joint operation was conducted by the officers from the departments of the Central Division Gang Unit and the Cyber Crime Unit.

The three men arrested for the offenses are identified by the investigating officers, which is also mentioned in the police report. The accused are a 39-year-old man from Santa Cruz, a 33-year-old man from Saint Joseph, and a 26-year-old man from Valsayn, Trinidad.

Reportedly, the three suspects of Demanding Money by Menace in Trinidad were caught in the dedicated operation. The action was taken after which was a part of investigations and surveillance going on for many weeks.

The successful exercise to catch the culprit was supervised by Senior Superintendent Smith, Senior Superintendent Simon, Superintendent Gyan, ASP Singh, and Sergeant Cielto. The accused of of Demanding Money by Menace in Trinidad were taken into custody for the legal trials.

It is also said that the accused were caught in possession of 200,000 dollars in cash, which was collected by unlawful acts from the victims. The police authority urged the local people to register complaints if they have also faced such kind of crime against themselves.

The information about the Demanding Money by Menace case and the arrest of three wanted men was shared by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. The Police Service officials also shared information on two more arrests, including a teenager in a larceny case.

On the same day, the police department got a complaint about Store Breaking and Larceny in the Princes Town district of Trinidad. The crime was executed on Tuesday, 27 August, when the business place was closed and secured.

The action was taken by the Southern Division Police after recording the statement by a female businesswoman, owner of the place. She claimed that the culprits took away several boxes of goods missing after entering her property without any permission.

The police officers started the investigation in response to the report of Store Breaking and Larceny. The officers managed to arrest a 14-year-old boy of New Grant and a 27-year-old man of Matilda as suspects of the crime.

The two suspects were taken to the police station under custody. The proceedings in the Princes Town Larceny case and Demanding Money by Menace case are ongoing. The culprits are expected to face the court for a hearing soon.
