Police recovers two stolen vehicles of Invaders Bay in Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago: An intelligence-led exercise resulted in the recovery of two stolen motor vehicles from the port of Invaders Bay in Saint James.
The police authority of Trinidad and Tobago released information about the operation which was executed on Tuesday, 06 August. The mission was spread around the region of the Central Division.
The dedicated exercise was conducted by the assigned officers from the Stolen Vehicles Squad who expanded the successful operation from 02:30 pm to 07:00 pm on the day.
The two motor vehicles that were reported stolen from the port of Invaders Bay were recovered by the responding officers from two different localities in Couva, Trinidad.
As per the details mentioned in the released information on the case of Invaders Bay stealing, the operation was initiated in the targeted location. The responding team of police arrived at Perseverance, Couva, where a residence was on focus.
During the search of the place, the investigators found a motor vehicle parked along the roadway, which raised their suspicion.
It is mentioned that the vehicle was a Caravan car of white colour that was without any registration plates attached to it.
The motor vehicle was examined, after which it was found that the unregistered car matched the details of a stolen vehicle from Invaders Bay, which was reported to the police department. The vehicle was missing from the Port since Monday, 05 August.
After the discovery of the first stolen vehicle, the same team of assigned police officers continued their mission in the town and moved forward.
While proceeding to the corner of Perry and Cemetery Streets in Couva, the officer observed another suspicious motor vehicle. The officers spotted a parked motor vehicle on a vacant lot of land, which was a Nissan Note car of white colour.
Reportedly, the suspected motor car was bearing false registration plates on it. The Nissan motor vehicle was also traced and it was found that this car was also reported stolen to the police department.
This motor car was also mentioned as missing from the Port at Invaders Bay on Sunday, 04 August. Both the recovered vehicles were taken under control by the lawmen and were taken to the police station.
The exercise was spearheaded around the Central Division by Senior Superintendent Singh, Superintendent Etienne, and ASP Sookdeo. Meanwhile, the exercise was conducted under the supervision of Inspector Lazarus and Sergeant Ag Baksh.
The investigation in the case of findings a stolen vehicle is active, and police are trying to trace the culprits associated with the crime.
