Associates Times sought clarification on land ownership, CBI funding and other allegations, but said Gregor Nassief did not provide direct answers or supporting documents to several key questions.
Gregor Nassief
Following the controversy in Dominica over allegations of Gregor Nassief, owner of Secret Bay resort, Associates Times reached out to Nassief with a series of questions.
Our sources confirmed that the land used by Secret Bay was acquired by the Dominica government, and later transferred to Nassief. However, he did not respond to the question, and remained silent whether the land was leased or his company has a freehold of the land.
Associates Times also requested details on how many CBI shares (applications) were allocated during the Secret Bay Resort's original development and further expansion. The questionnaire further asked how much of the expansion was financed through Nassief's personal investment compared with CBI-generated funding. But, he did not respond with a straight answer.
The publication also sought Nassief's response to allegations relating to the reported refusal of his United States visa application and claims circulating publicly regarding allegations of sexual harassment. Nassief remained silent and provided no clear comment on this matter.
In addition, Associates Times requested documentary evidence to support claims that ABL Holdings had secured a 999-year lease for land associated with the Dominica Cable Car project, following widespread assertions made by Nassief and in his letter dated 17 June 2026. He added that it was his private letter to the Prime Minister and others and was not meant to go public. Similarly, he did not provide any documents to support his claims of long leasehold. It is worth mentioning that our sources have confirmed that leasehold was amended within a week during that period of time to 99-years.
After reaching out to Gregor Nassief, he did not give any clear answer to the questions. Secrets remain in Secret Bay resort.
