St Kitts and Nevis is gearing up to host the first match of the 2024 Caribbean Premier League tonight at Warner Park Cricket Stadium

St Kitts and Nevis is gearing up to host the first match of the 2024 Caribbean Premier League tonight at Warner Park Cricket Stadium. The match will be held between SKN Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders at 7: 00 pm.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will play their second match of the 2024 CPL as the tournament was kickstarted on Thursday night with the game between SKN Patriots and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.

The match was held at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground and the SKN Patriots secured their first-ever victory in the tournament and started their journey with smile faces. The second match of the tournament was held between Antigua and Barbuda Falcons and Guyana Amazon Warriors.

The match was won by Guyana Amazon Warriors who started its CPL 2024 journey with the victory. SKN Patriots and TKR will play third match of the tournament today and the fourth match will again be held at Antigua and Barbuda.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and Minister of Foreign Affairs- Dr Denzil Douglas also visited Antigua and Barbuda to extend support to SKN Patriots and cheer for the player.

St Kitts and Nevis will host five matches of the Caribbean Premier League at Warner Park Cricket Stadium. The second match will be held between SKN Patriots and St Lucia Kings tomorrow at 7: 00 pom and the third match will invite the SKN Patriots and Guyana Amazon Warriors at the country.

The fourth match will be held between SKN Patriots and Barbados Royals at 7: 00 pm and the fifth match will be held between SKN Patriots and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.

The CPL 2024 will run through October 6, 2024, and the final will take place at Guyana National Stadium. SKN Patriots have won one trophy in the Caribbean Premier League in 2021 against the Saint Lucia Kings.

The team landed at the home ground for the match where they were greeted with massive celebration and event.

In the CPL 2024, a total of six teams will participate including Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Saint Lucia Kings and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

The quarterfinals of the tournament will be kickstarted on October 1, 2024, at Guyana National Stadium. During these five matches at St Kitts, the flow of the tourists arrival will be increased through air and sea connectivity.

Earlier, the tourism ministry also announced the additional service of the flights from the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and the Canada with several major carriers.
