Nicolas Maduro’s Dassault Falcon 900EX plane seized by USA

The government of the United States of America (USA) seized a luxury aircraft in Dominican Republic On Monday, 02 September. The aircraft was used by the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, for his international visits.

The US Justice Department official raised an allegation that the plane was purchased illegally and was smuggled from Florida. The luxury aircraft seized by US authorities is a Dassault Falcon 900EX, which is the Air Force One equivalent for Venezuela.

The plane was taken back to the United States and is currently in Florida under the custody of federal officials. It is stated by US officials that President Nicolas Maduro used a Caribbean-based shell company to make the deal.

The plane was purchased under a deal in exchange for 13 million dollars with a Florida-based aircraft company. The delivery was taken by Venezuela via the Caribbean last year in the month of April 2023.

It is alleged by the USA that the deal was unlawful and executed with violations of export control laws. The deal was also a violation of the sanctions laid on Venezuela by the government of the United States.

The point to notice in the case is that the Venezuela official hired a Caribbean-based company and used it as a shell for the deal. The purchase was executed by using the face of the Caribbean company to overpass the sanctions.

The luxury aircraft was registered in San Marino and was used in the service of President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela. Maduro travelled the in the plane for his international trips including Cuba and Guyana early this year.

However, the plane was identified by US officials, and they are claiming that the Venezuelan President is involved in corrupt practices. The investigation is being conducted by the US into the matter and the unethical practices of the Venezuelan government.

The seizure of the airplane on the land of the Dominica Republic again highlighted the long-going sour relationships between the United States of America and Venezuela. The US authority stated that with this, they raised a clear message that no one is above the law.

The people on the internet shared their views related to the matter and said, “The US is mad they can’t get their hands on Venz Oil! For the up Comin war! No more the world is done with west theft! He’ll buy ten more that’s built by Russia!”

People also said, “Did that plane ever came to trinidad during the covet19? We will never know. And all the so called investigative journalist in this country seem to have been bought out.”
