Caribbean Airlines adds 2,856 seats for August travel

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: Caribbean Airlines has officially announced the addition of 2,856 extra seats on its domestic route between Trinidad and Tobago from August 7 to 31, 2026 to accommodate the heavy rush of late summer travellers.

The national carrier made this strategic decision to ensure smooth, comfortable and reliable travel for residents and visitors during one of the busiest travel periods of the year. The decision to expand flight capacity follows official consultations and agreements with the airline’s Board of Directors, its Line Minister and Corporation Sole.

August is traditionally a high demand vacation period across Trinidad and Tobago, with thousands of families, students and tourists travelling between the sister islands for holidays, family visits and local events. Recognising the vital role it plays as the national airline, Caribbean Airlines is stepping up its schedule to make sure passengers can secure seats when they need them.

This latest August enhancement builds upon a previously announced summer schedule expansion, which had already introduced 7,658 extra seats across the peak July-August travel period.
