Bahamas is set to elevate its luxury tourism sector with the launch of a brand-new Rosewood Exuma, an addition to Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.

The Bahamas is set to elevate its luxury tourism sector with the launch of a brand-new Rosewood Exuma Hotel, an addition to Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.
Prime Minister Philip Davis along with the Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper announces the project in a ceremony on Wednesday.
This initiative is a partnership with the Yntegra Group and is expected to commence the construction at the East Sampson Cay by the end of this year. The authorities aim to complete the project and open it for general public in 2028.
The project will be part of the existing Rosewood Hotels and Resorts and marks a new expansion for the brand in the Caribbean.
The project planned is expected to create 500 more employment opportunities, and the Prime Minister, in response to the project, stated that, “The construction of Rosewood Exuma will improve our tourism product and stimulate economic growth throughout the Family Islands. By growing beyond Nassau, we hope to create a more balanced economic future for the entire Bahamas”.
“We are excited to see how this new resort will highlight Exuma’s natural beauty while also benefiting the local community,” He added.
The authorities have stated a robust plan for the project as it is expected to have fully serviced beach clubs, grill restaurants, beach and pool bars, yachts. The private cottage will consist only 33 suites, and each of them will offer a dramatic view of the island’s intricate beauty.
The officials stated that the new Exuma will be set up amidst the beautiful archipelago of 365 island in the Bahamas. The Bahamas consist of 700 islands in total out of which only 30 are inhabited.
According to the sound proposal, the resort will also include an organic vegetable garden, produce of which will be used by the six dining outlets delivering local delicacies. The complex will also feature an outdoor sports centre facility including sports like tennis, padel and pickleball.
Notably, the construction will follow sustainable building practices as the construction site will include solar powered energy resources. Moreover, the collaboration with Yntengra is expected to release desired outcomes as they specialize in the development of Luxurious resorts and branded residences in the Exumas.
This landmark development is expected to garner more international tourist to the island nation and aims to standout as one of the most luxurious destinations among the Caribbean. As thousands of tourists every year visit the Bahamas, this initiative further aims to foster a sustainable growth and economic diversification for the nation.
