JetBlue Heritage A320 and interCaribbean E170 spotted at St. Kitts Airport

Two distinctive aircraft arrived at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, giving aviation enthusiasts in St. Kitts a rare look at JetBlue’s Dominican-themed Airbus A320 and interCaribbean’s new Embraer E170.

Two notable aircrafts were recently spotted at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in St. Kitts. The aircraft were a JetBlue Airbus A320 with a special Dominican design and an Embraer E170 that is operated by interCaribbean Airways. The JetBlue aircraft carried the “Quisqueya la Bluebella” design. The interCaribbean aircraft arrived from Barbados.

The JetBlue Airbus A320 features a design that celebrates Dominican culture. JetBlue introduced the aircraft earlier this year in Santo Domingo. It is the first aircraft of the airline that is designed to celebrate an international destination.

The design of the aircraft was created by Dominican artist Willy Gómez. It includes several images linked to Dominican culture. The images that are placed on the aircraft include musician instruments, flowers, the national bird, palm trees and ocean waves. The design also features the Alcázar de Colón and other Dominican-inspired art.

The second aircraft that was spotted at the international airport was an Embraer E170 operated by interCaribbean Airways. The airline started scheduled flights with the E170 on August 24, 2026.

The E170 is one of the newest aircraft in the interCaribbean airline’s fleet. The plane can carry up to 76 passengers. Its 2-2 seating layout is unique as the passengers do not have to sit in a middle seat.

The airline is planning to use the E170 on several routes in its regional network. The aircraft will be scheduled to have routes in St. Kitts and Bridgetown in Barbados among the destinations which are set to receive the aircraft.

The E170 that was spotted at the RLB international airport arrived from Barbados. This gave a chance to aviation fans in St. Kitts to see one of the latest aircrafts of the interCaribbean airlines.

InterCaribbean airlines is continuing to increase its fleet while representing Caribbean regions. The new addition is helping in promoting tourism in the Dominican Republic and it is both beneficial for the country and the airline.
