Contour Airlines to Launch Trinidad-Dominica Flights
Contour Airlines will start flights between Trinidad and Dominica on October 5, 2026. There will be two flights each week between Piarco International Airport and Dominica’s Douglas Charles Airport. A 30-seat Embraer ERJ-135 aircraft will be used by the US airline for this service. The flights will arrive in Trinidad on Mondays and will return to Dominica on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The new flights will give people another way to travel between Trinidad and Dominica. Passengers will be able to travel from Dominica to San Juan in Puerto Rico and St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.
These trips will be introduced as one-stop flights through Dominica. Passengers can stay on the same plane when travelling to these destinations.
This basically means that passengers travelling from Trinidad to San Juan or St Thomas can fly to Dominica first and then continue their journey in the same aircraft.
The new service will give the passengers travelling from Dominica another connection to Trinidad.
The President of Contour Airlines, Ben Munson said that the new route would help in improving travel between the islands. He also said that it would support tourism and business links between the islands.
The flights will be operated twice a week. For Trinidad, the service will run on Mondays and Thursdays, while flights back to Dominica will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Contour Airlines is a US regional carrier that operates flights between smaller airports and regional destinations.
