Bail application of La Horquetta robbery suspect denied in Trinidad High Court

Trinidad and Tobago: A male suspect was presented in front of the Master of the High Court for the offense of robbery with aggravation in La Horquetta. The application of bail for the accused was denied by the court on Monday, 26 August.
The unlawful act of robbery with aggravation was rooted back to 05 July, when the incident was observed in La Horquetta, Trinidad. The crime was commited by two bandits, among whom only one suspect was held by police after the investigation.
The accused individual, who was arrested under the allegation of robbery in La Horquetta, was identified by the Trinidad police. The suspect is mentioned as a 23-year-old man who is a local resident of the town.
As per the available information, the name of the suspect is Isaiah David, who lives in a residence of Phase 7. The complaint was filed to the police department for robbery by two victims who lost a quantity of cash in the unlawful act.
It is mentioned that the two victims were standing along Tumpuna Road South in La Horquetta, Trinidad, when they were approached aggressively. The two bandits entered the scene on the day, among whom one was reportedly Isaiah David.
According to the statement of the victims, the two male suspects announced a robbery and demanded to hand all the valuable possessions to them. By threatening them and with the use of force, the two bandits managed to take a handbag and a wallet.
Subsequently, the bandits fled from the site with the wallet, which was carrying 26 dollars, and the handbag, possessing a thousand dollars. The police department registered the case and took charge of the matter of robbery with aggravation in La Horquetta, Trinidad.
The case was handled by the dedicated team of the La Horquetta Crime Investigation Department, who managed to collect information against the accused. The suspect, Isaiah David, was eventually held for the offense on Thursday, 22 August.
After the interrogation, the robbery accused was laid with two counts of charges for the commited crime. The relevant charges were laid by PC Graham on Sunday, 25 August. Under the same charges, Isaiah David was scheduled for an appearance in the high court.
In the High Court, the case of robbery with aggravation in La Horquetta, Trinidad, was observed by Master Shabaana Shah. The judge heard the case, denied the bail application of the accused, and ordered him to stay remanded into custody.
