Trinidad and Tobago: Ache Abrahams has been officially declared as the second runner-up for the 71st Miss World contest held early in March. The authorities announced and updated the decision after a long wait of 6 months.
The Miss World Pageant is one of the widely honoured platforms across the globe for beauty pageantries. The contest this year on 9th March, besides declaring the winner and first runner-up didn’t make any official statement for the second runner-up to the event.
Since then, fans have been hoping for a decision by the authorities and were constantly addressing them for the same. After a wait of almost 6 months, the Miss World Federation has made the results official on their website.
The website now finally features Ache Abrahams as the second runner up and it seems that her dedication and efforts landed her into this place.
The event which took place in Mumbai, India featured a total of 112 contestants across the globe. Among them, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic emerged victorious and took home the title of Miss World 2023.
Following her was Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon and Ache Abrahamas. The beauty queen aims to inspire others to follow their passions and guide them the way towards better mental health through her project named ‘The Invisible Scars Project’.
During the contest, Abrahams showcased commendable performances throughout the different rounds including the quiz, modelling, and question-answer series. However, her charming brown eyes and beautiful brown hair landed her in a special space in the audience’s hearts.
Social media users are constantly addressing her efforts and congratulating her on the win. One of the users said, “I held my breath…you were so great…l was so sure …that you would win…in my heart and my soul…you are my personal… MISS WORLD!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!…. ALWAYS…”
“She is beauty, class, style, fashion, integrity, and intelligence all in one. She is in a category all of her own,” another user said.
Linda Amarsingh another user said, “Congratulations young lady! You made me very proud. The competition this year set a very high bar and you were part of that. Great job!!”
Cheryl Mottley noted, “Congratulations you did well and made us proud. Such a beautiful Queen in this world keep up your good work.”
Abrahams has notably been also crowned as Miss World Trinidad and Tobago and her unique charm and beauty landed her a position at one of the highly applauded global pageantry stages.
