Unidentified dead body found in Debe, investigation ongoing

Trinidad and Tobago: The police service department of the twin island nation observed one more case of death in which a dead body was discovered in the locality of Debe. The dead body that was found by the police officers during the early hours of Wednesday, 31 July, around 01:30 am, was of a male victim. The dead body was spotted by the officers along the SS Erin Road in the town.

The dead individual whose body was found in the locality of Debe, Trinidad, on the day was known to anyone in the neighbourhood. The identity of the deceased man still needs to be found, and a dedicated team of lawmen is trying to search the background of the dead person to situate the possible relation to the death. The incident in the region was observed by the on-duty police officers, who then took action.

As per the available details about the discovery of the dead body in the settlement of Debe, the discovery was made by the authorities when a party of dedicated officers was active in the region. The police officers from the regional department were serving their duty on mobile patrol near Rahimville Road along SS Erin Road on the day.

It is mentioned that while the officers were present along their route, they spotted a man lying in a suspicious manner at a vegetable stall on the way. It is said the police officers approached the man and attempted to know the situation when they explored the death. The police officers stated that the man was already lying lifeless when they checked the body.

Immediately, the action was taken by the responding officers, and the area was taken under control for investigation. The district medical officer, Dr. Dhansingh, was summoned to the ground to assist the officers in the investigation. The district medical officer made his way to the site of Debe and examined that dead body, after which the official declaration of death was stated.

The site was searched, and the dead body of the male victim was ordered for removal from the place, after which it was assisted to the mortuary of the San Fernando General Hospital for autopsy. The police officers are waiting for the autopsy report to situate the real reason for the death. For now, it is assumed that the man killed himself, as per the clues collected in the early investigation.

Anyhow, no official statement in relation to the death of the man is situated yet. The police officers are working to find the background of the dead man and from where he belongs.
