Five contestants to compete for Miss St. Kitts and Nevis 2026-27 crown

St. Kitts and Nevis: The Miss St. Kitts and Nevis Queen pageant for 2026-27 has officially announced its five contestants after the Royal Reveal organized by the National Carnival Committee. It is one of the major events of the Sugar Mas and will be held on December 19, 2026, at 8:00 pm, in Carnival Village.

The five contestants of the pageant this year are Xyarra Wilson, Mia Alexander, Karina Dore, Ajane Bristol, and Ashley Wilson. They will compete for the national crown across different categories that incorporate beauty, talent, culture, and personal development.

The Miss St. Kitts and Nevis Queen Pageant, which is also referred to as the National Carnival Queen Pageant, was founded in 1958. It has managed to maintain the long-held tradition of recognizing talent, intelligence, culture, and national pride.

As we celebrate 55 years, we wanted this milestone to be reflected not only in the quality of our events, but also in how we recognize the extraordinary talent, discipline and commitment of the people who make Carnival what it is, said the Chairwoman of the St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee, Shannon Hawley.

The winner of the 2026-27 Miss St. Kitts and Nevis Queen pageant will receive a grand prize including land, EC$20,000 in cash, and other prizes.

Howley also mentioned that the Senior Calypso Monarch and Miss St. Kitts and Nevis Queen are among the oldest competitions in the National Carnival. “We believe their prizes this year should reflect the stature of those titles,” she added.
