Who We Are

Associates Times is an independent Caribbean-focused news organization, specializing in fact-based and credible reporting in different fields. With a deep analysis, our organization is expert in covering politics, business, environment, tourism, culture, crime, and regional issues of the Caribbean.

We give priority to fact-based objective journalism, aiming to enhance the standards of the news coverage. Based in Miami, Florida, we are expert in bridging you firsthand information on different areas, original interviews and verified data. We are also supported by correspondents stationed in Trinidad and Tobago, Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda and many others.

Our Story

Founded on January 11, 2021 by Scott Johnson, Associates Times provides accurate, credible news service to the communities in the Caribbean. The coverage was started with the local news on community issues, political updates of the governments of the Caribbean and other trends in the region including sports and entertainment.

Over the years, Associates Times has expanded its reach by covering major events and other global issues. It has included hard-hitting investigations, major election coverage of all countries in the Caribbean, reporting of disaster and weather issues including Hurricanes and other in-depth cultural features.

Our coverage has been cited by New York Times, Hindustan Times, and many others, shedding light on our commitment towards fair, accurate and transparent reporting.
