World-renowned Chef Marcus to open first restaurant in Bahamas

The world-famous Chef - Marcus Samuelsson is all set to open a new restaurant on the Bahamas island. This would be his first-ever restaurant in the Caribbean region.

Bahamas: The world-famous Chef – Marcus Samuelsson is all set to open a new restaurant on the Bahamas island. This would be his first-ever restaurant in the Caribbean region.

The restaurant – Marcus at Baha Mar Fish and Chop House is all set at the Baha Mar resort in Nassau, on the Caribbean island of the Bahamas. The inauguration of the restaurant is likely to take place soon.

The food menu of the restaurant would mainly centre on discovering the freshest ingredients of the Bahamas and local its local seafood.

The menu would prominently also feature a number of conch dishes, outlining the Bahamian favourite — with everything from conch fritters to a dish of conch salad.

It is established on the beachfront with the view of Cable Beach along with a venue named as – Marcus Up Top, a rooftop bar. The restaurant would be officially open for the residents from 12 July.

On opening its first restaurant in the Caribbean region, Chef Marcus cited, “The people of the Bahamas island, the culture and, of course, the access to fantastic Caribbean ingredients is extremely exciting to be around.”

“Baha Mar has built an incredible culinary program of world-class restaurants, which I am proud to join and looking forward to opening this Summer.”

The President of Baha Mar asserted, “The unbelievable career and talent of Chef Marcus is a motivation to the entire family of Baha Mar, and we are happy to introduce Chef Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House to our customers and the local population of the Bahamas.”

“Chef Marcus elevated culinary take on Bahamian cuisine will introduce a distinctive dining experience with delicious, inventive food in an incredible setting,” he further added.

Marcus earned fame with from his Red Rooster Harlem and Ginny’s Supper Club in New York city.
