Caribbean: Eastern Caribbean region could witness the partly cloudy weather with a slight chance of showers on July 28, 2022. 

Weather: Weather conditions over the Virgin and Leeward Islands will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers.

Weather conditions over the Windward Islands will be cloudy with periods of showers. Few isolated thunderstorms could also develop across portions of the Windward Islands.

Puerto Rico will be partly cloudy with a moderate chance of showers.

Winds: 12 to 25 mph or 16 to 40 km/h and gusting to 35 mph or 56 km/h.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.8 metres or 5 to 9 feet.

Two tropical Disturbances in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic. None of the systems is a threat to Montserrat at this time; Tropical Disturbance AL94 poses little to no wind threat to Montserrat. 

According to the latest Tropical Cyclone Information Statement issued by Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services on Saturday evening, Tropical Disturbance AL94 is likely to be in the vicinity of the windward islands Tuesday/Wednesday, at which time, it is forecast to be a storm with the potential to be a hurricane.

It states that at this time, even at the reasonable worst-case, the likely Tropical Cyclone poses little to no wind threat to Montserrat. No immediate preparations are needed; however, you should be prepared for the hurricane season.
