St Kitts and Nevis: The Minister responsible for Water Services in the Nevis Island Administration, Spencer Brand, in collaboration with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley, officially opened the Ministry of Health & Gender – Gender Expo ’22 and made remarked in the ceremony. 

The announcement was made at the official event, which has joined by the Minister of Health and Minister of Gender.

 On Friday, March 18, 2022, the Minister have announced the opening of the Expo 2022 and expressed his privilege and pleasure. 

The theme of the Gender Expo 2022 is Inspire, Empower, Re-tool, Connect for a Sustainable Tomorrow.

While informing about the initiative, Brand expressed, “It was truly a privilege to bring remarks today on behalf of the NIA and officially opened the Ministry of Health & Gender – Gender Expo ’22 under the Theme – Inspire, Empower, Re-tool, Connect for a Sustainable Tomorrow”. 

He further expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Health and Gender, PS and Assistant PS, young Mario Phillip and the entire team to take the initiative in reality. 

Spencer Brand noted, “Let me Congratulate our Minister of Health & Gender, PS and Assistant PS, young Mario Phillip and the entire team for a wonderful event”. 

He also expressed for the wonderful and successful event. 

Spencer Brand further affirmed that he was highly impressed with the direction and display of Fruit and vegetable carving as everyone has worked tirelessly to make it successful. 

He expressed, “I was overly impressed with the displays and creativity of Fruit & Vegetable carving, Hat/Fascinator, Basket Weaving and Fish Trap Making. Well done”. 

Brand said that the creativity is shown by the people in making Basket Weaving and Fish Trap Making was tremendously unique and maginificant. 

He further wished congratulations to all the persons who avail themselves to be trained in these highly skilled areas, stated, “Congrats to all the persons who avail themselves to be trained in these highly skilled areas, a special congratulations to the ladies who were trained in Plumbing. Awesome”.
