World Water Day has been used to create awareness about the significance of water and of 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. The main focus of the Day is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal and water and sanitation for all by 2030.
The main focus of the World Water day of 2022 is the groundwater and an invisible resource with an effect visible across the globe.
Further, groundwater is water that is found underground in aquifers, which are known as the geological formation of rocks, sands and gravels. It further holds substantial quantities of water which feeds springs, rivers, lakes and wetlands
