Washington: Chinese students in the United States of America extended their support to the Chinese universities protesting against the Communist party’s Zero Covid policy. However, the students have faced threats from the communist authorities in China through its “police stations” and other means.
According to the reports, these US universities have been facing threats to stand against the Chinese Communist Party. CCP is asking for an alliance from Chinese-based students or remains silent as they would back home.
However, the zero COVID policy of China has received backing from Chinese students and scholars. CCP has been peddling the agenda of denying the right of Chinese members of Western campus communities to debate the future of their country by the Chinese Student and Scholars Association (CSSA).
The CSSA has been recognized to prevent any action and activism against the Chinese government policy. They are encouraged to stop human rights associations in Tibet, Xinjiang, and Hong Kong. According to the reports, some affiliates have been decertified at a few universities for such behaviour.
China’s security police stations warned about severe consequences to the parents of protesting students to stop their activism against the CCP. According to several other reports, police stations related to the Chinese government have been founded in North America and Europe and they are also professing activities to monitor social media to silence the critics against the CCP across the globe.
The CCP increasingly feels at perfect liberty to export its nightmarish model of the social contract to the free countries of the West needless of Western respect for fundamental human rights.
The universities in France, Mexico, Taiwan and the US have become dependent on the fees from these students in China, so it is significant for them to support these students and protest the long-standing policy of education that values freedom of expression and flow of ideas, unlike CCP.
