Special Envoy to Haiti who is from Biden administration had resigned. He stated that he did so in protest of the large human expulsion of Haitian migrants to their homeland wracked by civil strife and natural disaster, U.S. officials said Thursday.

Daniel Foote, in July, was appointed to this position by the government after the assassination of Jovenel Moise.

Even before the migrant removals from the Texas border town of Del Rio, the working diplomat was perceived to be very frustrated by considering a need of urgency in Washington and a cool pace on efforts to improve conditions in Haiti.

Foote wrote to Antony Blinken, Secretary of State, that he decided to step down from his position with deep disappointment and apologies to those seeking crucial changes.

He said, “I will not be associated with the United States inhumane, counterproductive decision to deport thousands of Haitian refugees and illegal immigrants to Haiti, a country where American officials are confined to secure compounds because of the danger posed by armed gangs to daily life. Our policy approach to Haiti remains deeply flawed, and my policy recommendations have been ignored and dismissed when not edited to project a narrative different from my own.”

A few days ago, photographs surfaced on the internet that showed that border guards using whips against the migrants of Haiti. White House refused some of the viral photos that surfaced.

Journalist Paul Ratchet took the photographs showed that border guard agent on a horse that appears to be using a whip on immigrants returning from Mexico after purchasing food surfaced on Monday. The White House totally disagree with the photographs.
