US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, other officials congratulate PM Terrance Drew 

Following the completion of the election process in St Kitts and Nevis, United States Secretary of State Antony Bliken and other officials of the country congratulated Dr Terrance Drew on his election as the fourth prime minister of the Federation.

St Kitts and Nevis: Following the completion of the election process in St Kitts and Nevis, United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other officials of the country congratulated Dr Terrance Drew on his election as the fourth prime minister of the Federation. 

While founding time to extend warm wishes to the newly elected prime minister, Antony Blinken took to Twitter and shed light on good relations between the two countries. “Congratulations to PM-elect the Honourable Dr Terrance Drew and the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis for reaffirming the strength of their democracy through their recent elections. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership to build a more prosperous, secure hemisphere.” 

Besides this, U.S. Ambassador Brian A Nichols, Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs in the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC, also took the opportunity to congratulate PM Terrance Drew. 

Posting a photo of PM Dr Drew on his official Twitter account, he captioned,” Congratulations to the Honorable Dr Terrance Drew on his victory as Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis. Together we’ve strengthened public health, education, and security for our countries, and we look forward to a brighter future for our people and the Caribbean.-BAN.”

Along with this, the United Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados, threw a congratulation message to Dr Drew on his special day. “Congratulations to Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew and his government. We look forward to working with the new administration while enjoying the trust and mutual respect that has defined the relationship between our two countries.” 

It also congratulated the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis on their August 5 elections. They added that they stand ready to work with the Saint Kitts Nevis Labour Party. Their relationship with Saint Kitts and Nevis is built on trust, mutual respect, and friendship. 

“We commend all Kittisians and Nevisians who participated peacefully in the elections today. The U.S. remains committed to working with Saint Kitts and Nevis towards a more secure and prosperous future,” said the embassy.
