US:  Christopher Elms- a spokesperson US embassy in New Delhi appreciated the Indian students studying on the campuses of the United States on Thursday. He stated that the doors of the country are always open for the students as they significantly value their contribution to the education field of the US.

The remarks have been made by Elms ahead of the annual alumni fair. The fair will be held on January 21, 2023, at the American Centre in New Delhi. While calling Indian students, he asserted that they should explore the diversity of US higher education opportunities at the alumni fair. The country always welcomes Indian students.

Shedding light on the ties between India and US, Elms cited that their strong relations have been situated on the significant pillar of the exchange of knowledge. Both countries share lifelong friendships rooted in Indian students’ time in the United States. The US embassy and the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF) are all set to host the 2023 Education USA Alumni Fair on January 21 at the American Centre.

The fair will feature 28 accredited US universities and colleges and create a platform for the students to interact directly with current students and alumni of US higher education institutes. The US embassy added that the participants would directly learn from the experiences of those who attended universities across the US.

The embassy said that the students will also have the opportunity to learn about the application process, scholarships and funding from qualified advisers of the Education USA centre at the US-India Education Foundation (USIEF). They will also learn about the students’ visa process from US Embassy officials.

Adam Grotsky, Executive Director, USIED asserted that the Indian students who are studying at American Colleges and universities will provide an accurate and significant narrative of their academic, extra-curricular and cross-cultural experiences in the United States.
