Trinidad and Tobago: Yeama Indarsingh, daughter of Allene Indarsingh and Member Of Parliament for Couva South Rudranath Indarsingh, has won an open scholarship.
Yeama was one of seven students of St. Augustine Girl’s High School to get a scholarship. Yeama is currently studying at the Faculty of Law- St. Augustine Campus-University of the West Indies(UWI).
Mr. Indarsingh said he was proud of his daughter.
He said,” I have always said that success comes with a certain amount of sacrifice; I have always urged her to do her best and keep her feet on the ground.”
Indarsingh has a younger child, who is in Lower Six at the St. Augustine Girls’High School(SAGHS).
“I wish to thank her mother Allene, her younger Sister Anuradha, her teachers at SAGHS, Caroni Hindu School and the St.Helena Early Childhood Education Centre for their respective roles, support and the contributions which they have made to her success, along with her lessons teachers and her spiritual gurus. We are grateful to all who, in their own way over the years, would have assisted in her growth and development.” MP said.
Notably, Indarsingh party leader, i.e., Kamla Persad Bissesar, who herself a symbol of Women’s empowerment in the world. She always encourages education for the girls.
MP Indarsingh acknowledges all the people on behalf of her daughter who sent wishes to her.
“On behalf of our daughter Yeama Swasti Indarsingh, we wish to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for all the messages of congratulations on her achievement of being awarded an open national scholarship. Rest assured that all of your words and wishes have been conveyed to her and will continue to serve as an inspiration and guidance to her in her journey of life.” He said.
He noted, “We are very proud of her dedication, commitment, and sacrifices. May Almighty God continue to bless her and her sister Anuradha now and always.”
