Trinidad and Tobago logs 456 new COVID-19 cases, 25 deaths in last 24 hrs
Trinidad and Tobago: Trinidad and Tobago recorded 456 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the active caseload to 10,477. Recently the Health Ministry has released the data in the Covid updation report of 27th November 2021.
The active caseload stands at 10,477. In comparison, a total of 56,942 individuals have been recovered from this contagious COVID-19 virus. Nearly 543 people are still admitted to the hospital. The Health Ministry also highlighted in the report that a total of 2,115 patients have died on the island as of 28th November 2021.
According to the report, there is a total of 174 patients present in the step-down facilities, around 82 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities. A total of 9,304 people on the island have isolated them at their respective residences during the COVID-19 pandemic, as per the data shared in the health ministry’s report of T&T.

Till now, vaccines administered by the Ministry of Health:
120,100 AstraZeneca Oxford vaccine
410,956 got Sinopharm vaccine
112,305 doses of Pfizer
42,728 Johnson & Johnson.
In Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 64 people have been discharged from the public health facilities, and nearly 232 are listed in recovered community cases.
The recovered community cases are characterized as the one who were affected by the COVID-19 virus, after which they were in self-isolation, and the time they reach the discharge criteria, they will be officially released from self-isolation under the Government guidelines. In the last 24 hrs, T&T recorded 25 additional death on the island.
