Trinidad and Tobago: A total of 801 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded on December 6, 2021, along with 19 additional deaths, the data in the COVID-19 update report states by the Ministry of Health.
With the arrival of these fresh cases, the toll of active cases rose to 12,707, while the current death toll stands at 2,281.
As per the report, till December 6, 2021, in total, 60,947 individuals recovered from the contagious mutant, whereas 509 patients are still in the hospital facilities.
Around 187 individuals are in the step-down facilities, 101 in the state-quarantine facilities, and 11,210 citizens have isolated themselves at their respective residences.
Since the emergence of the pandemic in Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 75,935 confirmed cases have been recorded, as per the data shared in the health ministry’s report.
Till now, 458,869 COVID-19 tests have been conducted at both private and public facilities, out of which 196, 569 tests were conducted at private healthcare facilities.
COVID-19 vaccination data of Trinidad and Tobago:
According to the statistics, there are a total of 649,300 citizens who are vaccinated by taking atleast one dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine. On the other hand, in total, 648,651 residents have received their required number of the COVID-19 jabs and are now fully inoculated against the deadliest virus.
