Trinidad and Tobago: Conditions to remain sunny and hazy, chances of windy weather

Trinidad and Tobago: Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Department issued a weather advisory for the country. The conditions are mostly sunny and hazy this morning. The north Atlantic high-pressure cell, continues to be the dominant influence over the equatorial Atlantic, pushing breezy and sometimes windy conditions across Trinidad and Tobago.

The forecast for this afternoon is for conditions to continue, mostly sunny and hazy despite the low chance of a brief shower. Tonight is forecast to be fair and cool.

Night time and pre-dawn hours are expected to be cool and sometimes chilly, and mist or fog patches are likely to develop during the pre-dawn and early morning in some areas.

A slight increase in surface moisture could produce a few light or moderate showers in some areas during Tuesday and Wednesday.

As the week progresses there appears to be developing low level convergence across Trinidad and Tobago, which is likely to produce showers over varying areas, with the risk of a heavier shower or thunderstorm on Thursday and into Friday.

There are mild occasionally moderate concentrations of Saharan dust in the atmosphere. This will continue over the next few days. Seas can become choppy at times in the open waters.
