Trinidad and Tobago: The Division’s 2022 Caribbean Tourism Month celebrations officially commenced on Friday, November 25th, with Thanksgiving Service at the Lowlands Lifeline Ministries church.

The sub-theme for the service was “The Goodness of God” and featured performances by pannist and 12 and Under finalist; Jaydon Phillip, violinist and member of staff; Danicia Morris and professional dancer; Lisa McSween in Tobago.

Following the spirited delivery of the sermon by host pastor, Reverend Lorne Greene, multi-award-winning gospel artiste, Joel “Positive” Murray sang several of his popular songs for those present.

On behalf of the Secretary of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation, Councillor Tashia Burris of Tobago, Assistant Secretary Megan Morrison, Administrator Cherry-Ann Edwards-Louis and all staff, we extend commendation Cultural Officer I, Ms Giselle Charles and other members of the Committee for their excellent job in planning and executing yesterday’s thanksgiving service.

Read some facts about Thanksgiving from different people:

Living with Thanksgiving is a daily habit that enriches our lives and the lives of those we love. When we practice being thankful, we have a sense of gratitude toward others. The more we feel grateful for, the more we discover blessings surrounding us.

To be grateful is not a once a year celebration, but daily and a recognition that our life is a gift. That recognition frees us from the prison of pride with a desire to treat all as the Savior does, equally, with patience and love.

I want to wish all who are celebrating Thanksgiving, on behalf of Latter-Day Saints Uplifting Quotes and its moderators, a very special day, today and every day.

November is the time to be thankful, a time to remember, and to embrace those who enrich our lives. I’m thankful for a lot of things, but I’m most thankful for you.

Thanksgiving Day’…” In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (I Thessalonians 5:18)….I would love take this time to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!!! As for me, I am very thankful for all of you, our members “On this day…with Walt Disney“. Do pray that you day will be blessed as you spend it with your families, loved ones, friends or with your favorite pet. Until tomorrow, may God bless you with all thankfulness and joy.
