Timothee Chalamet made his hosting debut in New York

Timothée Chalamet began his SNL hosting debut this weekend with musical guest Bruce Springsteen also the E Street Band.

New York, US: Timothée Chalamet began his SNL hosting debut this weekend with musical guest Bruce Springsteen also the E Street Band.

The 24-year-old- Oscar-nominated actor performed in several sketches, even impersonating Harry Styles while cast member Chloe Fineman parodied the night’s host into a Dionne Warwick talk show segment.

“It is a tremendous honour to be hosting Saturday Night Live in New York City! Man, I’m so glad to be here. I’m from New York; I live in New York. I actually turned up in an arts building in Hell’s Kitchen about 12 minutes from here. Ere I was born, my mom was a dance teacher, but on the moment, she would do background work on Saturday Night Live. We have some clip of her in a Dana Carvey, including Chris Farley sketch ‘Massive Head Wound Harry,’ ” Chalamet told before the November 1991 footage, starring guest host Linda Hamilton, aired.

“Yup, that’s my mom! She almost got drivel on by Chris Farley. She’s the reason I’m alive; she’s the reason I hold an acting career. Mom, I love you,” he replied, giving a shout-out to his mom Nicole, who was in the audience.

Chalamet also showcased his vocal talents while he sang a song in a pre-taped sketch called ‘Tiny Horse’ with Beck Bennett.

Chloe Fineman went into Chalamet during last week’s Jason Bateman-hosted episode.

The actor has portrayed Chalamet on SNL before.

“He was at the concert on Saturday secretly, hidden with a hat and a mask — as you should be in a cover — and he was like, ‘We should figure something out,’ ” she remembered during her appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Chalamet showed off several skills in the episode, including impressions and vocals. He sang about a tiny horse in a musical sketch.
