 Prime Minister Gaston Browne was paid a courtesy visit by three West Indian cricketers and the management of Cricket West Indies on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister Gaston Browne was paid a courtesy visit by three West Indian cricketers and the management of Cricket West Indies on Monday, June 13, 2022. 

The courtesy visit was held ahead of the West Indies Vs Bangladesh test match cricket. The test cricket match will be held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and is scheduled to be held from June 16, 2022, to June 20, 2022. 

The office of the Prime Minister stated, “Prime Minister Gaston Browne was paid a courtesy visit by three (3) West Indian cricketers and the management of Cricket West Indies ahead of the West Indies Vs Bangladesh test match cricket to be held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium from June 16th-20th.” 

Further, Prime Minister Gaston Browne used the opportunity to offer some words of encouragement and support to the players as they prepared for the highly anticipated test match. 

In addition to that, On Monday, June 13, 2022, Prime Minister Gaston Browne accepted an invitation for a tour of the Glanvilles Secondary School, where music students got the opportunity to place their talent on display

Prime Minister Gaston Browne immediately, upon his return from the Summit of the Americas, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, St. John’s, to pay respect to the late Hon. Jorge Mera, Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources. 

Prime Minister Browne expressed condolences to both Ambassador Raquel Jacobo, the Government and the people of the Dominican Republic on the tragic loss of their statesman.
