Team Grenada to participate in 30th annual OECS invitational swimming championship 

The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture extended best wishes to swim Team Grenada, who left the island on Wednesday evening to participate in the 30th annual OECS Invitational Swimming Championship.

Grenada: The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture extended best wishes to swim Team Grenada, who left the island on Wednesday evening to participate in the 30th annual OECS Invitational Swimming Championship. 

The swim team will participate in the 30th Annual OECS Invitational Swimming Championship will be held at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre, Rodney Bay, St. Lucia, from November 11 – 13, 2022, after a two-year break from the regional event due to COVID-19.

Grenada has won the Championship on four (4) consecutive occasions.

The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture wishes to advise that the follow-up meetings which were scheduled from the previous series of Re-consultations on the National Policy on Sports and Physical Activity which commenced October 6, 2022, will be rescheduled to dates to be announced.

The Ministry will notify stakeholders of the new dates through its Secretariat. The Ministry extends apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused and thanks you for your understanding.

Earlier in October 2022, Grenada’s Senior Women’s Volleyball team participated in the 2022 ECVA Championship in St Maarten. Grenada placed 5th. Jomelar Billy got the best setter of the tournament.
