The Portsmouth Town Council General Election will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. The announcement of the election date was announced by the government of Dominica.

The government of Dominica announced the schedule of the series of public consultations on the review of the electoral system. Commencing on Monday (August 14), the consultation session will be ended on August 28, 2023.
