Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew arrived in New York to represent St Kitts and Nevis at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended wishes on the 40th anniversary of the Independence of St Kitts and Nevis. He said that this is the great day for the historical and cultural aspect of the Federation.
St Kitts and Nevis has been celebrating 40th anniversary of the Independence today (September 19, 2023). The Federation has attained its own independence on this day in 1983.
St Kitts and Nevis honoured the 29 nationals for recognizing their legacy and devotion to the country. As part of the celebration of the Independence 40, the government hosted “National Heroes Day”.
A new event- “Novali Mas” has added to the lineup of the events of Sugar Mas 52 of St Kitts and Nevis. The event will feature vibrant display of the culture of the Federation.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew visited Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, CFBC in St Kitts and Nevis. The visit was the part of the Independence 40 Cabinet School visits.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew expressed pleasure in featuring Psyche Southwell as the guest speaker of the prime minister’s Independence Lecture Series in St Kitts and Nevis.
