On Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the alexander stadium of Birmingham, the Commonwealth Games witnessed an official opening ceremony. In the ceremony, every participating country graced the stage in order to represent their respective countries.
In the meeting, every member state of the Commonwealth has shown their appearance. CSG Patricia Scotland expressed pleasure and joy at the fact that this was the first meeting since the Commonwealth family grew from 54 to 56 nations.Â
Through her social media, CSG Patricia Scotland stated, "A pleasure to welcome Commonwealth Ministers to Birmingham this evening, ahead of the 10th Commonwealth Sports Ministers Meeting (#CSMM) tomorrow."Â
Firstly, her meeting was held with the CEO of Simplilearn- Krishna Kumar. The engagement was primarily focused on the learning opportunities for 10,000 Commonwealth young people at Cambridge University.
