Around 105 new doctors in the health service of Malta were employed on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Chris Fearne- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health of Malta, announced the appointment of the new doctors in the hospitals.Â
The authorities stated that from July 25, 2022, people travelling to Malta without a vaccine certificate or a recovery certificate would no longer present a negative PCR/Rapid Test before arriving in the country.Â
Health Minister Chris Fearne took to Twitter and stated that the government of Malta has decided to give a second booster dose against the COVID-19 pandemic to residents aged more than 65.
In order to strengthen the medical facilities in Malta, the Rivaroxaban, which is equivalent to Xarelto and Rivaban, will be distributed in pharmacies in the country.
