Hurricane FIONA approaches Bermuda, watch turns into warning- Government 

The Government of Bermuda has upgraded the Hurricane watch to a Hurricane WARNING. This means that hurricane conditions have changed from possible to expected across the WARNING area

The passage of Tropical Storm FIONA created heavy flooding and rainfall, and at least one person has been declared dead in Guadeloupe. A house was washed away by strong flood waters in Basse-Terre, the capital of the country, with one occupant still inside.

TS FIONA watch discontinued for Dominica, Flood watch remains in effect

The office of the Disaster Management of the Commonwealth of Dominica announced that the Tropical Storm FIONA watch was discontinued for the country at around 5:00 am. However, the flood watch remained in effect and citizens are advised to be vigilant.

The Storm is expected to affect the areas throughout the weekend, which would lead the cloud to overcast skies. There will be periods of rain and gusty winds possible to tropical storm forces. The showers are predicted to remain moderate to torrential at times.
